Frequently Asked Questions
Microblading is done by using a tiny blade which cuts through the top layer of the skin so you may feel a slight scratching sensation. Numbing cream is applied during the treatment to help with any discomfort.
Results of microblading can vary from person to person, skin type and also how well you care for your brows after the treatment. If you have normal to dry skin you can expect your microblading to last up to 12 months before a touch-up is required.
Mircoblading is technique using a super fine blade to deposit pigment into the skin to create the effect of hair strokes. The shape of the brow is determined by your bone structure to give you the most natural enhancement. The pigment used is PhiBrows which are the most stable pigments on the market; meaning the pigment does not change colour after a period of time.
A patch test is not mandatory. If you are concerned about an allergy, your skin type or have a medical concern, it would be advised to have a patch test.
Yes. The treatment is conducted in two parts: the initial microblading treatment and the touch up. Without the touch up you may find that the strokes fade away and the brows may appear patchy where the pigment has not taken in the skin.
You will need to allow around two weeks for the brows to heal. During this time you will need to follow the aftercare instructions you will be provided with after your treatment - this is very important to insure your brows heal well. During these two weeks you may experience some scabbing and the brows may appear darker in colour for the first few days post treatment, however they will lighten over the two week period.
