Frequently Asked Questions
Most clients describe the sensation as light pressure or a mild scratching feeling, rather than pain.
A high-quality topical numbing cream is applied throughout the treatment to keep you comfortable, and many clients feel little to no discomfort at all.
Everyone’s sensitivity is different, but my priority is always to work slowly and check in with you so the experience feels as relaxed as possible.
12–24 months before gradually fading. The pigment is designed to soften naturally over time so your brows always look fresh and seamless.
Longevity depends on factors such as:
• Skin type (oily skin may fade a little faster)
• Lifestyle (sun exposure, skincare with acids or retinol)
• Aftercare during the healing phase
• Colour choice — softer, lighter shades fade sooner than darker tones
A colour boost is usually recommended at 12–18 months to maintain shape and definition, but some clients can go longer depending on their skin and preferences.
Each technique designed to look incredibly soft and natural.
Your brows are tailored to your:
• bone structure and facial features
• natural hair pattern and colour
• skin tone and undertones
• desired fullness and style
The goal is for the brows to blend seamlessly with your own hair so they’re flattering both with and without makeup. Most clients say their friends notice they look “fresh” — not that they’ve had something done.
A patch test is not mandatory. If you are concerned about an allergy, your skin type or have a medical concern, it would be advised to have a patch test.
A 6–8 week follow-up is recommended but not always essential.
This appointment allows us to:
• assess how your skin has healed
• make any fine-tuning adjustments
• add extra depth or strokes if needed
• perfect symmetry once the colour has settled
Some clients heal beautifully from the first session and don’t need a second pass, while others may benefit from a small refinement to achieve their desired result.
Your touch-up will always be personalised based on:
• skin type
• retention after healing
• colour choice
• your preferred finish (soft vs fuller)
You will need to allow around two weeks for the brows to heal. During this time you will need to follow the aftercare instructions you will be provided with after your treatment - this is very important to insure your brows heal well. During these two weeks you may experience some flaking of the skin and the brows may appear darker in colour for the first few days post treatment, however they will lighten over the two week period.
